Alex Trostorff is a partner in the firm's Tax & Estates Practice Group. His practice primarily encompasses transactional work for corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and master limited partnerships, with an emphasis on international tax issues. He also represents clients in civil and criminal tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Trostorff is a Board-Certified Tax Specialist as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.

Prior to joining Jones Walker in 1980, Mr. Trostorff worked in the corporate branch of the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. He is a native of New York and a longtime resident of New Orleans.
