Mr. Kennedy has broad ranging experience covering general contract, commercial law and litigation, with a specific focus on workplace relations and workplace safety. He has worked closely with clients to provide legal and strategic advice in employment and industrial relations matters including:

• corporate governance issues relating to executive employment, board and partnership disputes and transactional matters involving IPOs and mergers/acquisitions

• employment and workplace issues relevant to the sale/purchase of businesses and business restructures 

• occupational health and safety, including internal investigations, responses to WorkCover investigations and improvement notices 

• advising on contractor agreements and arrangements 

• development of employment policies and practices 

• discrimination and harassment complaints, including workplace investigations 

• privacy law 

• negotiating and drafting collective agreements 

• responding to industrial disputation 

• employment litigation.
