Anjana Patel is a Member of the Health and Hospital Law Practice Group at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. Ms. Patel's health care practice experience includes the representation of a diverse group of health care providers, including, but not limited to, hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory surgery centers and other ambulatory care facilities, investment funds specializing in health care, physician groups and various other health care facilities and businesses.
Ms. Patel has represented individuals and entities in many types of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, facility and equipment leases and licenses, management and administrative services arrangements, professional services arrangements, and professional recruitment and employment. Ms. Patel has provided guidance and compliance strategies with respect to the organization, governance and operation of non-profit and for-profit companies, and with respect to regulatory issues, including fraud and abuse, Stark, state kickback and self-referral prohibitions, corporate practice of medicine, non-profit law, and licensure and certificate of need.
