Bonnie Yeomans is a seasoned data privacy practitioner with over 25 years of experience. She focuses on global data privacy compliance, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA), HIPAA and cross-border data transfer mechanisms. Bonnie’s practice also focuses on data security program management, cybersecurity strategy and privacy by design. She has created programs for compliance with privacy laws in the U.S., EMEA, Latin America and Asia. Bonnie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).

Prior to joining Proskauer, Bonnie served as vice president, assistant general counsel and privacy officer at CA Technologies, where she was responsible for helping CA comply with various regulatory requirements. Her role also included managing all matters relating to compliance with the worldwide data protection laws, and helping to ensure that the company and its employees understand and implement appropriate procedures and security for the protection of personal information. Most recently, she helped the company to achieve its highest level of data privacy with the approval for its Binding Corporate Rules (BCR), a comprehensive data privacy and protection framework for the global transfer of personal data originating from the European Union.
