Chris Lauderdale is a Principal in the Greenville, South Carolina, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has been actively engaged in the practice of labor and employment law on behalf of poultry, pork and other food processors throughout his entire career.

Mr. Lauderdale currently focuses more than 95% of his practice on issues affecting food processing employers. Mr. Lauderdale regularly defends employers in multi-plaintiff and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Rule 23 class actions alleging violations of state wage payment, minimum wage, and overtime laws. Mr. Lauderdale has defended more than 50 such asserted class and collective actions. Mr. Lauderdale has extensive experience advising and representing clients in collective bargaining, representing clients before the National Labor Relations Board, representing clients in labor arbitration, and advising clients during union organizing attempts and corporate campaigns. He also regularly assists clients with immigration compliance under federal and state law.
