  • Mr. Lanzotti focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in diverse technical fields with a particular emphasis on biotechnological and pharmaceutical inventions including medical devices, diagnostics, treatment methods, small molecule drugs, polynucleotide-based therapies, such as siRNA, antisense and gene therapy, antibodies, protein engineering, bioinformatics and cell culture. He also provides patentability, validity and infringement opinions.

    Mr. Lanzotti has developed a thorough understanding and knowledge in most areas of biotechnology as a result of his studies and extensive research experience including the completion of his doctoral work in genetics and molecular biology. Mr. Lanzotti is familiar with the research process in these areas and has published several articles in scientific journals discussing the results of his work.

    Mr. Lanzotti received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006, a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 and his B.S. in Biochemistry/Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana at Champaign in 1996.
