  • David Crowe is an associate and registered Patent Attorney in Womble Carlyle’s Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s Greensboro, North Carolina office. A mechanical engineer, David served as a Patent Examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for six years. He quickly rose to the designation of Primary Patent Examiner all while attending Georgetown Law Center in the evenings.  As an Examiner he considered a wide variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical and optical devices in the field of illumination, including LED, flat panel display and automotive technologies. David has also interned in the body and chassis group at General Motors Corporation.
