David Sorensen focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability and products liability defense with particular emphasis on the representation of lawyers, physicians and hospitals, and medical device and toxic tort matters. He works closely with physicians, hospital staff and risk management professionals to devise creative and effective approaches to defending claims, and counsels attorneys in matters of risk management, professional responsibility and legal ethics.
Mr. Sorensen also practices in the area of toxic tort defense and complex tort litigation, including personal injury, insurance coverage, bad faith and commercial litigation.
Mr. Sorensen’s professional associations include the Chicago Hospital Risk Management Society and the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, American Bar Association, Illinois Association of Defense Counsel and the Chicago Bar Association.
