  • Dee Martin assists clients in navigating the complex federal landscape by providing integrated advice that coordinates the political, judicial and public affairs components so necessary to success in Washington, D.C. She represents and counsels clients on a variety of issues, including energy, the environment, national security, financial services and economic recovery.

    Ms. Martin helps corporations, nonprofit organizations and industry coalitions react to changed circumstances through monitoring, advocacy and negotiations with the U.S. Congress and departments and agencies of the Executive Branch of the federal government, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice, Department of the Treasury, Office of Management and Budget, and Office of Personnel Management. She testifies on her clients’ behalf, prepares them for testimony before Congress and government agencies, assists clients facing Congressional investigations, and provides policy-based support for organizations facing high-profile litigation.

    Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martin worked for a major nonprofit organization, focusing her advocacy work on women's equality issues. At the time, she was the youngest recipient to be awarded the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Award, which she received in 1997. Fellow recipients have included Hillary Rodham Clinton and Gloria Steinem.
