Emily Perkins is a third-year law student at Northern Illinois University College of Law in Dekalb, Illinois.

Emily received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Illinois StateUniversity and MBA from Bradley University. While at Bradley, she was a Graduate Assistant in the Economics Department and served as Vice President of the MBA Association.

At NIU Law, she is the Student Bar Association President, and a member of the Trial Advocacy Society and Moot Court Society. She is also a Graduate Assistant for theManagement Department in the College of Business. Upon graduation, Emily plans to practice civil defense litigation in Peoria, Illinois, in the areas of insurance and employment law.
