Frederick R. Chilton, Jr. is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Silicon Valley office. He focuses his practice on the representation of high-technology and other companies on complex international tax matters.
Fred was a clerk to Judge Leo H. Irwin, United States Tax Court and a tax law specialist in the Foreign Rulings Group of the Internal Revenue Service. He has spoken often for and chaired seminars on behalf of the World Trade Institute, Cite/BNA, Practicing Law Institute and the Tax Executives Institute. He has written a number of articles on a variety of federal income tax issues.
