Harriet McConnell focuses her practice on litigation, with special emphasis on American Indian law, appellate litigation, tax litigation, and white collar criminal defense. She has experience representing business and individual clients in federal, state, and tribal court, and in regulatory investigations. As a member of the Navajo Nation Bar, she also advises clients on Navajo law compliance issues in transactional, litigation, and regulatory contexts.

Before joining the firm Harriet clerked for the Honorable Timothy M. Tymkovich on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
