Harry W. Burton is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Burton’s practice has involved advising employers and employee benefit plans regarding all areas of benefit collective bargaining and benefit plan operations. This area of practice for employers regularly includes bargaining with labor union representatives, ERISA compliance, litigation of federal and state law claims, representation of employers and fiduciaries in investigations by the Department of Labor or the Department of Justice, and general fiduciary counseling regarding the legal implications of fiduciary decisions. These representations occur in both single employer and multi-employer contexts. The assets of benefit plans Mr. Burton regularly advises range from $50 million to several billion.
