Haywood’s practice focuses on the representation of banks, commercial finance companies and factors in a wide variety of commercial lending and factoring transactions, as well as in the area of creditors’ rights, workouts, loan restructuring and bankruptcy.
Haywood is an active member of the Commercial Finance committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and the Turnaround Management Association. He received his JD and MBA degrees from Wake Forest University and his BS degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Until April 2010, he was a partner in the Banking & Finance and Lending Services practice areas at Hunton & Williams LLP.
