Igor Potym is a shareholder in the Chicago office of Vedder Price, and has practiced estate planning, tax and general corporate law since 1980. Mr. Potym is a member of the firm’s Tax & Estate Planning Group. He is responsible for new product research and development in the estate planning area of practice.
Mr. Potym is a frequent lecturer on a variety of estate planning and business succession planning topics before tax practitioners, nontax professionals and various associations and other groups, and has been quoted in many publications, including The Wall Street Journal. He has extensive experience in representing high net worth individuals, owners of closely held businesses, executives of major corporations and professionals with regard to estate, financial and tax planning matters.
