Ivan Trifonov is the Managing Partner of our Moscow office. Ivan has been practicing law since 1993 and is an expert in Russian corporate law, as well as Russian and international subsoil law and environmental law.

Ivan’s professional credentials include advisory services, arranging legal support for projects in the natural resources sector and devising entry strategies for subsoil projects in various regions of the globe. The geographic scope of his projects over the last three years has encompassed various regions including Russia, Latin and South America, Central Asia and several African states.

He has managed projects focused on reviewing legal aspects inherent in the application of international economic sanctions. Ivan also has extensive experience in leading compliance and anti-corruption projects.

Since 1995, Ivan has worked in Central Asian states and Mongolia. He is well versed in tangible aspects of project implementation in this region.
