Izzet M. Sinan is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Antitrust Practice. Mr. Sinan focuses his practice on European Community (EC) law, with particular emphasis in the area of competition, where he has established a reputation in the mergers and acquisitions field. Mr. Sinan has practiced in Brussels since the early 1980s. He is a member of the EC Competition Policy Subcommittee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, which he chaired from 1994-1999. In this capacity, Mr. Sinan has been involved in drafting EC competition law legislation, including the merger control regulation, the joint venture guidelines, the know-how licensing regulation, the technology transfer regulation, and the rules on horizontal cooperation agreements.
