Jeffrey Hugh Newman is a senior partner, member of the Firm's Management and Executive Committees and Chair of the Real Estate Department. Mr. Newman has been practicing in the area of real estate, real estate litigation and real estate finance for over twenty five years bringing to his practice a background in corporate and business law, coupled with a Master's Degree in Taxation. Mr. Newman has developed a national reputation and represents institutional clients on a nationwide basis. This reputation has been developed through his representation of numerous retailers, developers, landlords and lenders, as well as the result of numerous speaking engagements throughout the country. In addition, Mr. Newman has published numerous articles in both the Real Estate Review and Commercial Leasing, Laws and Strategy.
Mr. Newman recently authored a book, Hear With Your Heart: Mastering the Art and Skill of Listening which deals with negotiating, not just for businesspeople, but for parents, children, siblings, colleagues – everyone wishing to enhance personal interaction skills.
