  Jennifer Mott Williams is an associate in Morgan Lewis's eData Practice. Ms. Williams assists clients, IT personnel, and Morgan Lewis attorneys in developing and implementing strategies for managing electronic discovery. She routinely provides legal advice to clients regarding litigation holds, collection of data in response to outstanding discovery requests, culling methods and iterative search term processes for responding to discovery, the document review process, options for document and data production, and applying principles of proportionality in the electronic discovery process to help clients save costs.

  Ms. Williams also counsels clients prior to litigation on general data governance issues. She assists clients in implementing best practices for document retention and disposition, remote worksite policies, and protecting information assets.

  Ms. Williams has previously served as national eDiscovery coordinating counsel for a number of similar class actions, working with in-house counsel and outside counsel from multiple jurisdictions.
