  • Jennifer is an associate in the Environmental Section, practicing in the firm’s Boston office. Her practice includes transactional and regulatory compliance as well as litigation. 

    On the transactional side, Jennifer advises purchasers, sellers, landlords and tenants of properties with hazardous substance and petroleum contamination, assisting them in conducting due diligence, negotiating cleanup responsibility, and in allocating environmental risk both by contract and through environmental insurance. Post-acquisition, Jennifer’s work includes overseeing the remediation of such properties and allocating responsibility and costs of cleanup, while working with numerous parties, including responsible third parties and their attorneys, environmental consultants and state environmental agencies. She also counsels borrowers in connection with financing and refinancing contaminated properties, and has advised secured lenders regarding liability under both state and federal law.
