John Spires is a member of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and bankruptcy litigation, including specific experience with shareholder derivative lawsuits, the prosecution and defense of claims for breach of contract and various business torts, as well as contested matters and adversary proceedings arising in bankruptcy cases. John has practiced before Kentucky's federal and state trial courts, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the Kentucky Supreme Court and United States Bankruptcy Courts in multiple states.
Before joining Dinsmore & Shohl, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer B. Coffman, United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.
