K. Nicole Clouse, Ph.D., is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Boston office. She focuses her practice on patent preparation, prosecution and portfolio management in the life sciences industry. Nicole also assists with the preparation of patentability, freedom to operate, validity and infringement opinions and advises litigation teams on technical scientific matters. She has worked with a wide variety of clients, including biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, universities, independent research institutions and venture capital firms.
