With extensive experience in construction and engineering law, Kevin has worked in the contentious and non-contentious areas over several years of practice. He has acted in international dispute work, litigation, arbitration and adjudication. His experience of contract problems and on contentious matters, acting for different parties, has given him valuable insight into the drafting and procurement processes.
He has experience of negotiating and drafting complex construction, procurement and engineering contracts and on advising on construction aspects of real estate and project financed transactions. He has been involved in the preparation of project documentation, including PFI/PPP work.
He has advised on and drafted a broad range of contract documents, including the terms of engagement for consultants, contractors and sub-contractors, numerous bespoke forms of warranty, performance bonds and guarantees, framework agreements and amendments to the various industry standard forms.
