Kyle A. Forgue is an associate in the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. Mr. Forgue represents clients in protecting and enforcing patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, with a focus on patents. He also counsels clients on issues of infringement and in purchasing, selling and licensing intellectual property.

Mr. Forgue has experience in the preparation and prosecution of foreign and domestic patent applications; plaintiff and defendant side litigation in Federal District Court; and conducting patent validity challenges before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is proficient in a wide variety of technologies, including mechanical and electromechanical systems for the aircraft, automotive and consumer product industries.
