Ms. Yip has a commercial litigation practice, with experience in consumer class action litigation alleging various business torts and violations of the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and California's Unfair Competition Law, Business and Professions Code section 17200. She also handles real estate breach of contract disputes.
Ms. Yip has experience drafting a wide range of pleading papers, including initial pleadings, dispositive motions, motions in limine, motions for attorneys' fees, jurisdictional challenges and ex parte applications. She also has experience propounding and responding to discovery (including extensive interviews of document custodians), enforcing judgments, and researching and conducting sophisticated legal research. Ms. Yip is a member of the firm's E-Discovery Team. She manages complex and large-scale electronic discovery projects.
