Marco Cerritelli focuses his practice on project finance, energy, infrastructure and public-private partnerships (PPPs). He represents the full range of Italian market participants, including construction companies, equity investors, financing parties, municipalities and governmental entities. Over the years, he has acquired in-depth experience in structured finance schemes, being involved in a wide range of financing transactions, including some of the most important project and structured finance deals in Italy.

Marco has worked at some market-firsts and pathfinders and has engineered several award winning financing transactions, including the first-ever multi-asset health care concession in Italy (European Healthcare Deal of the Year by Project Finance Magazine), the first-ever combined loan and bond mass transport PPP in Italy (European Transportation Deal of the year by Project Finance International and European Rail Deal of the Year by Infrastructure Journal and Project Finance Magazine) and the first-ever infrastructure deal in the highway sector in Italy to be based on a bullet repayment scheme sculpted on the terminal value of the concession.
