  • Mark McAndrew is a Partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the firm's Health Care and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups. His practice focuses principally on counseling a wide variety of health care clients, including drug and medical device companies, pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, contract research organizations, hospitals, nursing homes and physicians in corporate transactions and regulatory matters. Throughout his legal career in Washington D.C. and now in Cincinnati, Mark has worked extensively with health care clients on governance matters, the creation of joint ventures and other entities with complex corporate structures, acquisitions and divestitures of companies and assets, and advising on various contractual arrangements to ensure compliance with governing health care laws, regulations and other applicable regulatory guidance.

    A particular emphasis of Mark's practice involves assisting brand and generic drug companies navigate a variety of interrelated legal and regulatory issues arising under the Medicare and Medicaid programs, Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and similar state food, drug and pharmacy laws. His representation of these entities often involves providing strategy and advice to guide these clients toward product commercialization, including product development, licensing deals, marketing applications, manufacturing, distribution and supply issues, advertising and promotional compliance, rebate arrangements, good manufacturing practices and other quality issues.
