Mike is a health care attorney advising clients on a variety of regulatory, contractual and operational issues in hospice, home care, and long-term care settings. In addition, Mike is an experienced health care consultant in regulatory, reimbursement, development and operational matters.
Prior Legal Experience
Mike's career began as a staff nurse at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. He then went on to be the Hospital Supervisor of Raleigh Community Hospital. After receiving his JD, Mike held consulting positions, had his own private practice and served as the Executive Director of the Hospice of Wake County; and was the vice-president of Legal Services at Community Health, Inc. in Rocky Mount.
