Michael D. Wagner is an associate in Barnes & Thornburg’s Grand Rapids, Michigan, office where he is a member of the Litigation Department.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Mr. Wagner served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen J. Murphy III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Before that, he focused on political law as an associate with Clark Hill PLC.

Mr. Wagner earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as a law clerk for the Michigan Attorney General. While earning his B.A., magna cum laude, from American University, he served as an intern for the White House and was the president of the Justice Advisory Group (pre-law).
