  • Michael Langer is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Madison office. His practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark and copyright law, with an emphasis on drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in chemistry and life science technologies. Mr. Langer’s chemical experience includes analytical reagents, catalysts, coatings, consumer products, food products, fuel cells, luminescent compounds, pharmaceutical compounds, and chemical processing methods. His life science experience includes protein and nucleic acid preparation, separation, identification, and characterization; disease treatment methods; cell transduction and signaling; medical devices; and instrumentation and assays (spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, fluorescence assays, electrochemical detection, antibody assays, electrophoresis, chromatography, etc.)
