Paul D. Hallgren has experience in corporate and transactional matters, including securities law compliance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. In that position, Paul conducted legal research, drafted bench memoranda and orders, and attended court proceedings.

During law school, Paul worked with the University of Minnesota Law School Business Law Clinic, where he assisted clients with entity formation, operating agreements and bylaws, and contracts. As a 2017 Lindquist & Vennum summer associate, prior to the firm's merger with Ballard Spahr in January 2018, Paul advised a pro bono client on a naturalization application.
