Mr. Lawton concentrates his practice in general corporate/business matters, commercial and construction litigation, gaming law, bankrutpcy, and internal investigations. His practice includes complex commercial litigation matters before federal and state courts, and arbitration proceedings. With respect to construction litigation experience, Mr. Lawton has represented general contractors and subcontractors in a variety of courts and administrative proceedings.

Mr. Lawton also regularly counsels clients regarding sweepstakes and contest promotions conducted online and through traditional methods, including drafting official rules and disclosures and analyzing legal implications of marketing and promotional campaigns to ensure compliance with federal and state law.
