Rose is a Patent Engineer in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. A registered Patent Agent with a keen understanding of patent law and the patent application process, she provides support in an effort to efficiently see the patent through to issue.

Working with clients in industries dealing with payment processing systems, packaging products and machinery, medical imaging technology and computer-related matters, Rose oversees the full life cycle development of patents. She interprets and documents the scope of inventions and ensures there are no issues with regard to existing patent infringement.

Rose is further involved with creating all relevant materials for a patent application, including drafting applications and conducting patentability and clearance searches. After all kinks have been worked out, she submits the patent application to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for examination. Rose further assists with the prosecution of applications, including responses to Office Actions and post-grant administration.
