Sandra Snyder is an associate in Bracewell's Environmental Strategies Group. Ms. Snyder advises manufacturers, refiners, project developers, investor groups and financial institutions about environmental risks, liabilities, regulatory compliance, and related issues arising in the context of corporate transactions. Her practice also includes working on environmental litigation for clients in state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as before regulatory agencies. She advises clients regarding strategies for participating in the public notice and comment process during the development of environmental regulations. Before joining Bracewell & Giuliani, Ms. Snyder gained experience in the New Jersey office of a national firm by working on CERCLA litigation and by representing manufacturers of industrial materials and equipment at products liability depositions.
Prior to law school, Ms. Snyder worked as a chemical engineer for four years at one of the world's largest oil refineries, initially providing operations support as a process engineer in both hydrofining and utilities, before becoming the site's Foreign Trade Zone and Oil Loss Coordinator.
During law school, Ms. Snyder served as a legal extern to the Honorable Dora L. Irizarry of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also completed a legal externship with the Environmental Protection Agency.
