Sixuan Lu

Professional Biography

Born and raised in the Mainland of China, Mr. Sixuan Lu obtained his Bachelor of Law with honors at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 2009, Master of Common Law at the University of Hong Kong in 2010, LLM at Dedman Law School of Southern Methodist University in 2011, and will graduate with his JD at Dedman School of Law in May of 2013. He also attended a private international law session at Hague Academy of International Law in 2012. From 2009 to 2010, he served as a research analyst/Mandarin Chinese translator at RepuTex and was responsible for the Hang Seng Sustainability Index appraisal. In 2012, he held judicial clerkships with Judge Diana Saldaña at the United States District Court and the Hon. D’Metria Benson at Dallas County Court at Law No. 1. Currently, he is an American Bar Association staff writer and monitors opinions from the First and Third Circuits for purposes of the Criminal Justice Section, Young Lawyers Committee Newsletter, and is also serving as a student attorney at the SMU Federal Taxpayer Clinic.
