Smitha is a Shareholder in the firm’s Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group. Her litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes, health care, construction, and insurance coverage matters. She has prior experience representing clients in construction, environmental and products liability matters. Smitha has represented public and private entities in state, federal and appellate courts, arbitrations, and mediations. She represents the firm’s clients at all stages of litigation, including initial litigation strategy, discovery, settlement, pretrial motions, trial, and appeal.
In 2009, Smitha was named a “Rising Star” in General Litigation by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine.
During law school, Smitha served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington D.C., White Collar Crime Division and as a research assistant for Professor Laura Rosenbury.
Smitha serves on the Board of Directors of the Wheaton Franciscan-St. Francis Foundation. She is also a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
