Tawnee Harker is an associate in the Financial Restructuring Group in Cadwalader's London office and specialises in distressed debt and claims trading. She frequently represents investment funds, brokerage firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions in connection with the acquisition and sale of syndicated bank loans, debt instruments, bond claims, deposit related trades and distressed assets, in particular insolvency claims within Europe, the United States and Asia.
Before joining Cadwalader, Tawnee was an associate at Richards, Kibbe & Orbe LLP within the distressed debt practice area. Tawnee graduated from Newcastle University, where she obtained an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Law. She then studied for the Legal Practice Course at the BPP in London. Tawnee is admitted to the roll of Solicitors of England & Wales.
