Bill Hunt is a member of the White Collar Crime Practice Group. He has more than 30 years of experience handling white collar criminal matters.
Most recently, Bill served as the Criminal Chief of the U.S. Attorneys Office and was responsible for all criminal litigation in the Southern District of Ohio. In addition to his role as Criminal Chief, he served as the First Assistant U.S. Attorney, which is the number two position in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. During this time, Bill managed the day-to-day operations of three offices consisting of 58 lawyers and over 50 support personnel. He also served as Acting U.S. Attorney in 2009. Prior to that, Bill served as lead Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) attorney, and was an Assistant U.S. Attorney, in the Columbus Criminal Division. Bill also served as a prosecuting attorney, chief prosecuting attorney, and as a military judge at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
