Navigating the Legal/Regulatory Hurdles of TSCA Chemical Data Reporting
Webinar, Hosted By Keller and Heckman LLP
Wednesday, June 15, 2016 - 7:00 AM
The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule (40 C.F.R. Part 711) requires U.S. manufacturers and importers of chemical substances listed on the TSCA Chemical Substances Inventory to report information on these substances to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by September 30, 2016. The electronic platform for reporting opened on June 1, 2016. The 2016 CDR is more complicated, more onerous, and requires more information than the 2012 CDR and there are significant penalties for CDR noncompliance (up to $25,000 per chemical per site). It takes companies significant time and effort to prepare these reports. This webinar will review the rules and field questions on these reporting obligations.
