Our story is simple, really.  It all began with clients like you.

When you were confronted with issues relating to labor, employment or education, in either the private or the public sector, you needed experienced and reputable lawyers who offered cutting-edge expertise in these rapidly-evolving fields of law.

But technical expertise alone was not enough. You also needed lawyers who thoroughly understood your institutional objectives and environment, so that legal advice was always rendered in context, with an eye toward achieving those objectives.

You needed lawyers who were responsive and accessible, who would provide prompt, efficient assistance, sharply focused on your issues.

You needed sensible, creative solutions to the increasingly complex problems of the workplace and the educational setting, where sound solutions are often both elusive and imperative.

You needed results. And you needed all of this from lawyers who were sensitive to cost and understood your concept of value.

Anxious to serve you better, we looked for a way to do just that. United by a common vision and a desire to achieve a new level of client service, we opened our doors in February 1994 with a dozen attorneys. Client response was positive and strong.

In over fifteen years since the firm was formed, we have grown four-fold and stand among the premier labor, employment and education practices in the country. Our clients include Fortune 100 companies and some of the largest public sector entities in the United States as well as many small-to-medium size businesses and educational institutions. We counsel, advise and otherwise represent clients across the United States. We have proven ourselves capable of staffing the largest and most complex cases for clients of all sizes, and maintaining day-to-day consultation on more routine matters.
