The White House has announced that it will lift COVID-19 travel restrictions starting November 8, 2021 for international visitors who are fully vaccinated. Only vaccines that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration or designated for emergency use by the World Health Organization will be accepted for travel by air, and the same is expected to be required for land border visitors. Fully vaccinated foreign visitors can start entering US on November 8, White House says - CNNPolitics

The Department of Homeland Security has announced amendments to Title 19 regulations in two phases.  First, beginning in November, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will begin to allow fully vaccinated visitors to enter the U.S. from Mexico and Canada for non-essential purposes via land and ferry border ports of entry. Second, beginning in early January 2022, all foreign national travelers crossing land or ferry ports of entry will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and to provide proof of vaccination, whether they are entering the U.S. for essential or non-essential reasons. Secretary Mayorkas to Allow Fully Vaccinated Travelers from Canada and Mexico to Enter U.S. at Land Borders and Ferry Crossings | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)
