House Action On Bipartisan Robocall Bill Currently Expected This Week

According to the House of Representatives current list of upcoming bills to be considered on the floor of the House, action of the full House on the Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, H.R. 3375, can be expected sometime this week. Further, the bill is listed as among those eligible to be considered under suspension of the House Rules. This procedure allows expeditious action on non-controversial bills. Debate is limited and no amendments are in order unless submitted with the bill by its manager at the time the motion to suspend the Rules is offered. A motion to suspend the Rules and pass a bill requires a vote of two-thirds of the Members present and voting.
