Ali N. Wright

Ali N. Wright focuses his practice on employment litigation, particularly in the wage and hour and employment discrimination areas. He has particular experience with collective action and class action suits brought under:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Fair Labor Standards Act
  • Equal Pay Act
  • Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act

Ali has cross-examined corporate witnesses, taken and defended depositions, prepared fact witnesses for depositions and administrative hearings, managed document productions, and drafted pleadings, dispositive motions and post-hearing briefs. He also counsels employers on a variety of workplace issues, including wage and hour compliance, personnel policies and practices, employee separations, severance agreements, non-competition agreements, internal investigations and arbitration programs.

Previously, Ali clerked for the General Counsel’s Office of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), a medical device trade association based in Washington, DC. He also has experience defending an array of pharmaceutical companies in product liability and mass tort matters.
