Amanda Walsh joined the Furia Rubel team as an intern in 2008 after graduating magna cum laude from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. Her enthusiasm and curiosity for integrated communications and emerging technology trends led to the agency’s decision to keep her on board as a blogger and social media strategist while she taught English in Madrid, Spain while honing her Spanish fluency.

Since returning from her travels abroad, Walsh has served as an integral part of the Furia Rubel team contributing her Web 2.0 expertise to growing Furia Rubel’s social media presence and fostering relationships with local media and industry professionals. Her daily responsibilities include account management, media relations, event management, strategic planning, and Web 2.0 initiatives. An active social media user and blogger, she regularly posts on Furia Rubel’s corporate blog, The PR Lawyer.
