Angel Valverde is a special counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Government Solutions Practice. He represents clients in regulatory and government relations matters involving employment-based immigrant visa petitions, as well as investment and professional visas.
Angel’s experience includes advising clients from Latin America, Europe, and the United States. His cultural and educational background, combined with his professional experience, allows him to translate complex legal issues from the common and civil law systems.
Before joining Foley, Angel also gained substantial experience in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and corporate law while working in Venezuela and France. In Venezuela, his practice involved multiple civil disputes and commercial transactions. While in France, he worked in the international arbitration departments of major international law firms, and was an intern at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
