Ann Latimer is special counsel in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group and practices from The Woodlands office.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Ms. Latimer was Associate Division Order Analyst/Eagle Ford at BHP Billiton Petroleum, where she created a joint interest billing and royalty owner division of interest ("DOI"). She maintained DOI records and setups and maintenance using title opinion analysis, interpretation of documents and contracts, changes of record title ownership of minerals, working interest, and royalty interests. Ms. Latimer also set up and maintained DOI in the land program systems to ensure royalty payments made to private, corporate, and government mineral owners were in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and contracts.
