Benjamin (Ben) M. Kahn is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, based in the firm’s Washington D.C. office, where he is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.
Ben was a summer associate with Foley, during which he prepared documents for a number of corporate transactions such as company formations and mergers. He conducted legal research and wrote memoranda for attorneys in a variety of practice areas, including antitrust and intellectual property. He also virtually attended FDA hearings regarding the legalization of cannabidiol in the United States and prepared notes for the firm’s Government Solutions team.
Prior to Foley, Ben was an assistant general manager for a local non-profit organization, where he sold sponsorships to local businesses, managed the team’s website and organized charitable events. He also obtained experience as a legal intern, conducting legal research, drafting contracts and preparing research notes and documentation for intra-organizational meetings.
