Bruce MacLennan is a lawyer in the KL Gates New York office and a member of the Investment Management, Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments practice group. Mr. MacLennan counsels clients on complex international business transactions, with a focus on the structuring and formation of private investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds, as well as unique investment vehicles. In addition, he advises investors on their private fund investments, funds on portfolio transactions, and fund and non-fund clients on private equity and venture investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and customized business partnerships, in deals ranging in size from $10 million to $2 billion. He also provides guidance to fund managers and investors on investment-related regulatory matters under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
