Christian P. Jones is a partner in Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Indianapolis office and a member of the firm’s Insurance Recovery and Counseling Practice Group. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage advice and litigation on behalf of policyholders.
Mr. Jones has 20 years of experience handling insurance coverage disputes involving a wide variety of claims, including general liability, first-party property, director and officers liability, professional errors and omissions, fidelity, employee dishonesty and claims under financial institution bonds. He has represented clients in coverage disputes litigated in state and federal courts throughout the country, and was part of a trial team that in 2015 secured a $200 million verdict for a policyholder on a commercial property insurance claim. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Jones works to resolve coverage disputes outside of the litigation process through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Mr. Jones also counsels clients on a variety of non-litigated insurance issues that arise in the course of their business.
In addition to his insurance recovery and counseling practice, Mr. Jones represents clients in a variety of business litigation matters.
