Professional Biography

Christine is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Labor, Employment and Benefits Department, where her practice focuses on federal and state court litigation, arbitration, and mediation of employment law disputes. She defends employers against claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, defamation, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, wage and hour violations, the enforcement of covenants not to compete, and other employment-related disputes. She also represents employers in cases involving claims of discrimination and retaliation before the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Christine also advises employers on a wide range of issues, including non-solicitation agreements and workplace policies, and provides training seminars for managers and employees on sexual harassment prevention, state and federal discrimination and leave laws, and social media use, as well as risk mitigation strategies.

Before joining the firm, Christine was an associate with a well-established Stamford-based litigation firm, where she represented clients in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation, and appellate practice.

Christine received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she was the Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Connecticut College.

She served as a law clerk for the Honorable C. Ian McLachlan in the Connecticut Supreme Court, and for the Honorable Alexandra D. DiPentima in the Connecticut Appellate Court. She previously worked as a Victim/Witness Advocate in the Juvenile Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston. As a law student, she successfully argued two appeals before the Massachusetts Appeals Court on behalf of the SCDAO.

Christine serves on the boards of the Wilton Library Association and Hands Up for Haiti, a Westchester County-based medical humanitarian organization. She is a member of the Raymond E. Baldwin American Inn of Court and the Connecticut Bar Association.
